Formed by Mr Francis Siva on the 6th of September 2001, the Independent Living & Training Centres in Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur is a charitable non-profit organization that is registered with the Malaysia Registrar of Societies (ROS).

The ILTC aims to train and provide individuals with physical disabilities with the necessary assistance and tools to develop their abilities and maximize their level of independence in order for them to achieve a fulfilling life regardless of their disabilities.

The centre’s old concrete floor was difficult for individuals on wheel chairs to move around. To improve this, Hume Cement Sdn Bhd sponsored the cement for the centre’s new flooring and tile laying.
